Pascal's vases. Mahogany base Dia270 on 3 turned mahogany feet and carrying a mahogany pillar H500 with an unequal arm balance. Brass pan for weights on the long arm. The short arm carries a piston at the bottom of a Dia45 H280 glass tube standing in a Dia120 glass vessel H310. To demonstrate that the same water level in the narrow and the wide glasses exert the same force on the piston. All placed in a sheet metal box with a brass spout for emptying.
