Hygroscopic element: wood, cut in a ca 2 mm thick plate 60x300, mounted vertically in brass guides, fibres horizontal, pushing at the top on a brass plate, which again pushes a horizontal brass lever L300, indexing on an arbitrary scale 0 - 100. Mahogany base 310x120 with 4 "lyon's feet". 2 Glass pillars H260 support mahogany plate with brass scale and fitting with pivot for index.
