Polarization instrument, Fresnel's. Iron base Dia190. Brass pillar Dia24 H430. On a bracket at the top is the centre for a vertical brass ring with scale 180-0-180, 0 at the top. At the centre is mounted a horizontal, blackened glass plate as mirror (missing). Pivoting at the centre are 2 brass arms with radial brass tubes Dia40 L200. At the outer end brass fittings with rotatable glass and mirror can be fitted; scales 0-360 .
